Chris & Danielle Ashby
Dashby Designs is co-owned by the couple Chris and Danielle Ashby. The couple's inspiration behind starting Dashby Designs was their own wedding back in 2007. Frustrated after spending thousands of dollars, working with multiple vendors, and putting in long hours creating many of their own materials; Danielle and Chris agreed that there had to be a less expensive and more worry free alternative to the wedding announcement and messaging business.
The truth is there wasn't, that is until they introduced the idea of the Wedding in the Box. With the Wedding in the Box, the young couple set out on a mission to provide future couples everything they need to announce their wedding to friends and family in one budget-friendly, handcrafted, personalized package. This is their solution to helping young couples make their wedding more affordable, while eliminating the stress of dealing with multiple vendors.
Frustrated with dealing with multiple vendors herself, Danielle didn't realize the realm of her craft abilities right away until she was forced to for her own wedding. In the past when she had the time, Danielle always made it a point to handcraft her birthday, wedding and thank you cards to friends and family. The recipient always made it a point to go out of their way to especially thank her for the time and hard work she put into her cards to provide a personal touch. Despite the kind words, her talents weren't realized until her own wedding day. On that special day, guest after guest commented on how beautiful the programs were, unbeknown to them that Danielle had made them herself.
In 2010 Danielle's abilities and dreams were realized when the couple opened Dashby Designs with the mission of providing people with affordable, personalized, handcrafted wedding and birthday invitations, baby and bridal announcements, and their very own Wedding in the Box.
